Self-service scans: Consent. You voluntarily submit your URL and email address to receive a report.

Cold outreach: Legitimate interest under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f). We contact UK limited companies (corporate subscribers under PECR) using publicly available business contact details to offer a free service relevant to their website. We do not contact sole traders or individuals. You can opt out at any time.

5. Source of data (cold outreach)

For cold outreach, business contact details are collected from publicly available sources: business websites, Companies House public register, and publicly listed business directories. We only contact UK limited companies, LLPs, and other corporate subscribers as defined under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Our report pages contain affiliate links to third-party tools. If you click these links, you will be directed to those third-party websites, which have their own privacy policies. We record that a click occurred but do not share your personal data with these providers.

Webinetics does not use cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking scripts on our website. Report engagement tracking uses server-side logging with anonymised IP hashes.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted database connections, hashed IP addresses, and access-controlled administrative interfaces.
